Jellyfish represent acceptance and the healing of painful resurfaced memories. Although the viewer can interpret this piece in their own way, the intended message is associated with the girl accepting events as they are and moving on. The Kübler-Ross Model, in psychology, represents the five stages of grief. These are the stages people experience when coping with loss. The stages, in order, are; denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally, acceptance.
