Awards and Achievements

At Melville Senior High School we empower every student to achieve their best by fostering personal excellence and a passion for lifelong learning.

We emphasise creative and critical thinking through a comprehensive academic program with outstanding ATAR, General and Vocational Education Training results.

Our ATAR results are incredibly strong, with consistently high numbers of Year 12s in the top 5% of Western Australian schools.

Our Vocational Education and Training students continue to shine at a state level achieving the Western Australian School-Based Apprentice of the Year at the WA Training Awards and Australian Apprentice Finalist.

Our students excelled with 100% Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and Online Literacy and Numeracy Assessment (OLNA) completion. 

We are also ranked in the Top 20 schools for NAPLAN achievement in Year 7 and 9 in 2023 and 2024.

Our strong industry partnerships with leading universities, TAFEWA, Qantas and Netball WA position Melville Senior High School as a top performing secondary school for students to discover future success.

Our students continue to make us proud achieving outstanding success as we celebrate 65 years of achievements in 2025.
