‘Book in A Day’

A notable achievement by three Melville teams of Gifted and Talented students who participated in the nation wide competition, Write a Book in a Day. The Gr8s, Femi9 and exTENsion cord were the three teams in years 8, 9 and 10 who brainstormed, planned, wrote, edited, illustrated and compiled their books over 12 hours, ready for submission in the evening. The competition raises money for The Kids’ Cancer Project, in which our teams raised over $800. It was a brilliant effort from all involved.
