The competition gives both primary and secondary students in WA the opportunity to design an advertisement based on a true to life advertising brief from participating organisations. This is a fantastic competition as students learn about advertising, the design process, and advertising techniques. Hundreds of students across WA participate, with the entries judged by representatives from the participating organisations. Gifted and Talented student, Joshua Cabutaje (Year 11), participated and WON the secondary school-aged category. Joshua’s design responded to the Caltex brief. As a winner, his design will be published in The West Australian ED! Magazine on August 22nd.
Well done Joshua on this fantastic achievement.
