Enrolments

Children residing in the school’s local intake area are guaranteed placement but must submit an Enrolment Application by the first Friday of Term 3 each year, along with the below documentation listed.

Local Intake Area

The Primary Schools in our local intake area (including ‘Optional Intake Area’) are Attadale PS, Bicton PS, Caralee Community School, East Fremantle PS, Kardinya PS, Melville PS, Palmyra PS, Richmond PS, Winthrop PS, North Fremantle PS.  Please note students attending these schools who do not live in the local intake area will not be automatically accepted to the school for enrolment.  Students residing out of the local intake area will need to complete an Out of Area Application Form.

Eligibility for enrolment can also be gained through selection in our Gifted and Talented Secondary Selective Academic Program or one of our Approved Specialist Programs.

Approved Specialist Program applications for the 2027 intake are now closed.

Where a child’s usual place of residence is not in the local intake area, an out of area application for enrolment may be considered.

All families retain the right to apply to enrol their children at any public school. Applications received from outside the local intake area will continue to be considered by the school in line with Department of Education Policy.

Starting the Enrolment Process

The Application for Enrolment form can be download, collected from the Administration Office, or provided via email. Submitting an Enrolment Form to the College does not mean your application has been accepted.

The parent/guardian must supply the following documentation when enrolling, to secure an enrolment:

• Proof of Address – Current rates notice or current lease agreement (lease greater than six (6) months)
• Two (2) pieces of evidence of their usual place of residence (recent utility account, gas, water, etc.)
• Driver’s licence of parent/guardian completing the application
• Student’s Birth Certificate
• Immunisation Statement (no more than two (2) months old), which can be obtained from my.gov.au
• Most recent school report
• If applicable, court orders or documentation showing the enrolling adult is the legal guardian.
• If applicable, documentation relating to any diagnosed learning difficulty or medical condition.

If the student was not born in Australia, the following documents will also need to be provided:

• Evidence of the date of entry into Australia
• Passport or travel documents
• Current visas and previous visas (if applicable).
