Attendance

Attending school every day plays a crucial role in a student’s academic success and personal development. Consistent attendance helps students build strong study habits, stay up to date with lessons, and actively participate in classroom discussions and activities. It also fosters a sense of routine, responsibility, and discipline that extends beyond academics. Attending school each day lays the foundation for a successful educational journey and future opportunities.

Parents or carers are required to update attendance, absences, report pastoral care or personal contact information via the Compass Portal

Students absent from school with their parent or carers permission are responsible for contacting teachers to receive missed work.

Parents or carers of students absent for long periods for medical reasons should provide a medical certificate and contact their Year Coordinators or teachers via Connect.

Further information on how to report absences or pastoral care issues on Compass is available at Report Absences or Pastoral Care
