At Melville Senior High School, our diverse range of programs ensures every student has the opportunity to fulfill their potential and find success in their chosen pathway - and beyond. Our core curriculum study areas are English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences and Health and Physical Education. Students can also choose language study in Mandarin or Italian and explore a wide range of electives in Technologies and The Arts.
In addition, Melville SHS offers a variety of Approved Specialist Programs – Aviation, Graphic Design Media and Netball, Department of Education Gifted and Talented Academic Selective Program and school-based programs – Music In Focus and Academic Extension.
In Senior School, pathways expand further, with extensive opportunities in ATAR, General Studies or Vocational Education and Training, preparing students for success at university, in further training, or directly in the workforce.
