Did you know this year is not only the Year of the Rat in accordance to Chinese Zodiac, but it is also a “Metal” or “Golden” Rat year. The last Year of the Rat occurred in 2008!
Melville is a culturally rich and diverse school, with 60+ nationalities represented at the school, it is important to celebrate cultures other than our own. On 7 February 2020 Melville welcomed some fantastic guests – transitional Chinese lion dancers! This event has been happening at Melville for 5+ years now and has become quite the anticipated tradition among staff and students alike.
