Exclusive Partnership with Qantas Airways

Melville Senior High School have a strategic aviation alliance with Qantas Airways and Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) to promote the Qantas Group Pilot Academy (the only one in Western Australia), which provides a unique opportunity for MSHS Specialist Aviation students to be shortlisted for the Academy’s selection process after completing initial application stages.  Our students gain firsthand insights from industry professionals and have the opportunity to explore aircraft up close.

Notre Dame University

Melville SHS partners with Notre Dame University to deliver the UniPath Program to any interested Senior School students.  The program, upon successful completion, meets academic entry requirements into many undergraduate degree programs at the University of Notre Dame.

Local businesses

Our senior school Vocational Pathways Program (VPP) provides our students with the ability to gain their WACE Certificate whilst completing further training and work placements at local businesses and industry contacts.

Our Local Intake Area Primary Schools

Our Melville SHS Science Learning Area recognises the importance of engaging our primary school students in scientific endeavours. Students in Year 6 at local intake primary schools have the opportunity visit Melville SHS to participate in a STEM Rocket activity, providing students with the ability to experience and prepare for Science at High School.
